Custom Handcrafted Fin Blades Terms and Conditions

Handcrafted Variations:

• All Spierre Fin Blades are custom handcrafted. Handcrafted items, by nature have imperfections. Although we are thorough and manufacture to very specific product standards that we have set for the products, there are inconsistencies. Based on the creative nature, each item will look a little different from the next. This is what makes handcrafted work unique.
• Any item you purchase is one of a kind. There are no two items that leave our Workshop, that are exactly the same. The designs may not be from the same dye lot and the color nuance may vary.  Even if it does, the unique patterning and design of the colors will make each item beautifully different.

Despite every effort to provide accurate images of each product's color and design, actual colors and design may vary slightly, due to different device screen settings, the lighting in the installation location, slight differences in product finishes over time and other factors. Spierre will not accept responsibility for any color or design differences that are not factory faults. In purchasing from Spierre, you agree to accept the small risk that there will be a slight variation between the actual color and design, and the representation on our website.  Whilst manufacturing your fin blades we will do our best to position your design according to your request and specs, but there can be variances in the final print that require us to re-position the design so that it  (the design) will be optimally placed on the fin blades.  Spierre does not take responsibility for the final placing on the fin blades and customers agree to accept this risk when requesting their own design on the fin blades.

Please note: When submitting your own design for your fin blades, you confirm that the design submitted for the design is your own artwork or that you have the necessary permissions in place, indemnifying Spierre against any copyright or trademark claims or infringements.  When placing your Own Design Handcrafted Fin Blade order, please be sure to first read the Handcrafted Product Description below as you will have been deemed to have accepted these conditions, when placing your order.

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

Foot Pockets ordered via Spierre with your Fin Blades:

1. Please note, Spierre Fins does not manufacture foot pockets at this stage and as such, the foot pockets that we can supply to our customers who select foot pockets, are ordered from other manufacturers.  

2. We are willing to fit the foot pockets to the custom fin blades ordered from us and are also willing to contact the foot pocket manufacturers ordered with a set of Spierre fin blades, but cannot be held responsible for the manufacturing as this is not a Spierre manufactured product and as such we do not have control over its Manfacturing process.

3. Certain brands of foot pockets are fitted only with glue, e.g. Cetma, and we do not recommend fitting the foot pockets by drilling holes in the fin blades.

4.  Should the glue, for any reason beyond our control, loosen after the fin has been used, a good quality super glue (crazy glue) for example Loctite, can be obtained from most reputable hardware stores and used to glue the foot pockets to the fin blades.  We can also send a link to the foot pocket fitting videos to the customer, on request.

*  If you are ordering a set of customer fin blades, with an upcoming trip in mind, please allow sufficient time for the custom production of your fin blades and also the time period that it will take for the parcel to reach you.  Give yourself enough time in advance so that you received your fins/fin blades well in time before you are booked to leave as we cannot take responsibility for it reaching you in a tight timeline.

Please note that all sales are final and no returns or refunds will be issued, due to the custom and handcrafted nature of the product.
